Delish Ribs

In the crockpot combine

boneless country ribs
Your favorite BBQ sauce to cover ribs
dried minced onion
garlic and herb seasoning
salt and pepper

Stir to mix and cook on low for about 7-8 hours

About 1/2 way through, take off lid and stir and add more seasonings to your taste!

Serve with mashed potatoes and use the sauce for gravy -- I refrigerated the leftover BBQ sauce mixture to make with pork chops or chicken on the grill!

Last Night's Dinner

* Flat iron steak marinated all day in Kraft Greek Vinegarette dressing
* Yoder's rice, broccoli and cheese side dish
* Romaine lettuce with some reduced fat feta cheese and Greek Vinegarette
* Sutter Home White Zinfandel to drink!

It was the best dinner in a long time! We didn't eat much all day so we gobbled it all up. The steak came out tender and juicy.

What's for Dinner!

REVIEW OF LAST NIGHT's DINNER:
Don't sprinkle chili powder on catfish or eat catfish plain -- it needs a rub or something to coat it otherwise it is very bland.
Spaghetti was delish with some Mid's sauce with meat.
Salad was okay for leftover, it got eaten.

Tonight is Chipotle Chicken, Zatarain's Black Beans and Rice, and miscellaneous leftovers from the fridge (salad, veggies, and rice).

What's for Dinner?

REVIEW of last night's meal:
Steaks were yummy, black angus filet mignon! Near East brown rice pilaf tasted delish and cooked well in the microwave. The veggies were steamed tender and delicious!

Tonight is a strange potpourri - we are eating with my parents and meshing our meals:

* Catfish with some chili powder on the grill (need to eat it)
* spaghetti with sauce (contributed by Mom)
* salad with some Athenos feta cheese and fresh tomatoes and your choice of salad dressing.

What's for Dinner - change of plan

OK so what I listed last night for tonight's dinner didn't work out. The fish didn't thaw and so I went to the grocery store and changed the menu.

* filet mignon steaks with Tastefully Simple (T.S.) Garlic Garlic seasoning
* broccoli, cauliflower, and peppers in a foil pouch with T.S. Season Salt and olive oil
* Near East brown rice pilaf (I did not cook it this time in the microwave!)

What's for dinner?

Tonight's dinner will be quick and small since we are working on our house.

Mama Rosa's oven deluxe pizzas - in the 5 items for $19.95 at Buehler's
Leftover breadsticks that my sister brought over with her

REVIEW: Don't cook pizzas on pizza pans, they are too soggy or cook them about about 2 minutes longer which helps a bit. Leftover breadsticks don't microwave reheat very well.

Tomorrow we will eat a nice dinner.
* catfish cooked on the grill
* Bush's baked beans
* Rice with Rotel tomatoes
